The Horknax is a large snail like alien that presumably is slow and similar in most ways to the earth's snail. The snail is brown and a large hard shell, originally being triangular, but recently has been depicted as a cone or unicorn horn, and appears to be around the size of a Nectall without its tail, however it is much taller due to its shell.
The Horknax has had it's model made previous, the older version of it at least, in the original spawn/menu of the game in the coming soon section. The model of the alien resembled the original concept art heavily, and depicts a very bland alien. The colors of the snail was a light tan for the body and a medium brown for the shell. The alien also had a small knife like tooth sticking out of its mouth, described to stab whoever got too close to it, and possibly was used as a straw due to the Horknax eating/sucking sap, nectar, and blood.
The newest version of the Horknax is a large snail with 4 feelers and a sharp tooth, with a cone shell and a more upright body. The current work in progress model is very similar to the colorless concept art created by CaZsm, having the same tall shell and facial features, aside from the whiskers being shorter on the model. It's unclear how fast it'll be, but its safe to assume it'll share similar traits and abilities to earth's snails. The model is currently planned to be animated as a skinned mesh. This will be the first slug like creature, and the first to have its entire body be a skinned mesh, aside from the accessories, which include the shell.
This is the current wip model next to a human in studio, with no coloration.
The Horknax's customization is strictly set to colors and the shell's shape and pattern. No colors or customization has been shown publicly yet, however the ideas have been compared to Nerite snail shells.
